Seungjae Seo is a photographer and writer from South Korea.
 After graduating from Dong-Ah Broadcasting College in Seoul, he began working at the Korea Broadcasting Company, the country’s public broadcasting service, and for Suwon City Public Relations Department as a video producer. 

 After his two-year military service, he moved to the United States in 2005 to study photojournalism at the University of Minnesota. While there, he worked at the student newspaper, Minnesota Daily, and had an internship at The St. Cloud Times.
 After graduation, he began a career as a broadcasting reporter at the Korean Broadcasting Company (KBC) in Chicago. He mainly covered immigration, education, and the crime beat. In 2010, he moved to New York to work at the Korea Times and Korea Daily.
 In 2020, he graduated the International Center for Photography’s Photojournalism and Documentary one-year certification program.

He is currently based in NewYork.
